He is a strong advocate for public education, universal pre-K, tuition-free college, and student debt cancellation. He also supports investing in green infrastructure, renewable energy, and environmental justice to combat the climate crisis and create millions of good-paying jobs.
Congressman Bowman is a proud father of three and a lifelong New Yorker. He grew up in public housing and experienced poverty, violence, and homelessness as a child.
