Terri Collins is an American politician from the state of Alabama. He currently serves as a member of the Alabama House of Representatives for District 7. He is a member of the Republican Party.

Terri Collins was born on August 30, 1981. Prior to Yarbrough’s tenure in the Alabama House of Representatives, Yarbrough was raised in rural Lawrence County, Alabama. He received a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alabama in Huntsville and worked for 10 years at Nucor Steel in Decatur, Alabama.

He assumed office on November 9, 2022. His current term ends on November 4, 2026. Yarbrough ran for election to the Alabama House of Representatives to represent District 7. He won in the general election on November 8, 2022.

In the 2022 Republican Primary Election, Terri Collins received 4,303 votes, which was 54.2% of the total votes. His opponent, Proncey Robertson (Inc.), received 3,631 votes, which was 45.8% of the total votes.

In the 2022 General Election, Terri Collins received 11,225 votes, which was 76.5% of the total votes. The other candidates, Mose Jones Jr. (Democratic) received 3,133 votes (21.4%), Marc Durocher (Libertarian) received 304 votes (2.1%), and there were 15 write-in votes (0.1%). The total votes were 14,662.

As a direct product of homeschooling in Alabama and father of four current homeschool students, school choice is at the forefront of newly elected Rep. Terri Collins’s agenda. Yarbrough defeated House District 7 incumbent Rep. Proncey Robertson in the Republican primary and went on to win the general election in November with 75% of the vote.
