Senator Bryan B. King represents Senate District 28, which is composed of Carroll and Madison County and portions of Boone, Franklin, Johnson and Newton Counties. He first served in the Arkansas Senate from 2013 to 2018 and was elected to a second stint in the Senate in 2022.

Senator Bryan B. King represents Senate District 28, which is composed of Carroll and Madison County and portions of Boone, Franklin, Johnson and Newton Counties. He first served in the Arkansas Senate from 2013 to 2018 and was elected to a second stint in the Senate in 2022.

Senator King is chair of the Senate Interim committee on Children and Youth and vice co-chair of the Game and Fish / State Police Subcommittee. He is a member of the Senate Public Health, Welfare and Labor Committee, the Senate State Agencies and Governmental Affairs, the Joint Retirement and Social Security Committee, the Joint Budget Committee, the Arkansas Legislative Council, the Claims Review and Litigation Reports Oversight Subcommittee and the Occupational Licensing Review Subcommittee.

In the past, Senator King worked with legislators nationwide as a member the Southern Legislative Conference (SLC), the Council of State Governments (CSG), the National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL) and the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC).

King served on the Economic Development, Transportation and Cultural Affairs Committee of SLC, the Intergovernmental Affairs Committee of CSG, the Justice Performance Project of ALEC and the Budgets and Review Standing Committee and Redistricting & Elections Task Force of NCSL. In August 2013, Senator King served on the panel, Safeguarding Elections: Before, During and After Election Day, during the 2013 NCSL Legislative Summit in Atlanta where he discussed and provided ideas on improving elections, creating better registration procedures and maintaining efforts to enfranchise eligible voters.

In 2006, Senator King was elected to the Arkansas House of Representatives where he served three consecutive terms. A former election commissioner, King is a farmer and owner of Triple K Farms in Green Forest. He is a Christian and was born in Springdale. Senator King and his wife, Shana, live in Carrol County.
