Rep. Steven Walker is serving his first term in the Arkansas House of Representatives. He represents District 27, which includes Newton, Searcy, and Izard counties and a portion of Baxter and Stone.

Rep. Walker was born in Salem and raised in Brockwell. He has a Master of Science in Educational Leadership, a Bachelor of Science in Mid-Level Education from Arkansas State University, and an Associate of Arts in General Education from Ozarka College.
