Katie Wallace represents Senate District 17 (Longmont, Lafayette, and Erie). Raised in Lafayette and now living in Longmont, Sen. Wallace is focused on listening to and creating progress for the community where she grew up and that she is still so proud to call home. Sen. Wallace’s legislative work focuses on affordable housing, the environment, and workers’ rights.

She serves as Chair of the State, Veterans, & Military Affairs Committee and member of the Judiciary Committee.

Sen. Wallace is a proud graduate of Front Range Community College in Longmont and CU-Boulder. Prior to her election to the Senate, she spent 13 years working on political organizing in her home community and across the state of Colorado, as well as serving in policy roles at both the State House and Congress.
