Doug Okuniewicz is an American politician and businessman currently serving as a member of the Idaho Senate from the 3rd legislative district. He assumed office on December 1, 2022. Prior to this, he was a member of the Idaho House of Representatives from District 2 Seat B, where he served from December 1, 2020, to November 30, 2022.

Born in Phoenix, Arizona, Okuniewicz moved to Hayden, Idaho, where he currently resides. He is a member of the Republican Party.

In terms of education, Okuniewicz earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Nevada, Reno, and a Master of Arts in communications from the University of Alabama.

Okuniewicz has had a diverse career, working for several corporations in the intellectual property, employee benefits, and non-profit sectors. He also holds more than 25 patents.
