Representative Josh Tanner - Contact Information

Josh Tanner is a member of the Republican Party and represents District 14B in the Idaho House of Representatives. He assumed office on December 1, 2022, and his current term ends on December 1, 2024.

Tanner ran for election to the Idaho House of Representatives to represent District 14B and won in the general election on November 8, 2022. Prior to his political career, Tanner’s experience includes owning and operating businesses.

He was raised in Idaho’s Treasure Valley area and completed his education at Boise State University, earning both a Bachelor of Science and an Executive MBA. In addition to his legislative duties, Tanner is currently serving as the elected Eagle fire commissioner, a position he has held since 2018.

As a legislator, Tanner has been assigned to several committees including the Business Committee, Environment, Energy, and Technology Committee, House Health and Welfare Committee, Ways and Means Committee, and the Joint Legislative Oversight Committee.

Outside of his political and business pursuits, Tanner is an Evangelical Christian and an avid hunter and fisher who enjoys the great Idaho outdoors. He is married to Dominique and they have three children.
