Michael Veile is a member of the Republican Party and currently serves in the Idaho House of Representatives, representing District 35A. He assumed office on September 25, 2025, and his current term will conclude on November 30, 2026.

Veile was appointed to the Idaho House of Representatives by Governor Brad Little to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Representative Kevin Andrus. Professionally, Veile is the owner of Process Improvement Engineering, an engineering, procurement, and construction management company based in Soda Springs. He previously worked for Monsanto from 1998 to 2025, gaining extensive experience in industrial operations and engineering management.
