About Representative Justin Cochran - Democratic Representative of Illinois
Justin Cochran is a member of the Democratic Party and currently serves in the Illinois House of Representatives, representing District 55. He assumed office on December 30, 2025, and his current term will conclude on January 13, 2027.
Cochran has been a resident of Des Plaines since 1997. He is a graduate of Maine West High School and earned both his bachelor’s degree in history and his master’s degree in political science from Northeastern Illinois University.
