Representative Bill Clifford - Contact Information

Bill Clifford is an American politician who has been serving as a Republican member for the 122nd district in the Kansas House of Representatives since 2021. He was born near Junction City, Kansas. He is married to Jean Clifford and they have six children.

Clifford graduated from the United States Air Force Academy and served our country as an F-15 Eagle fighter pilot. After his service in the Air Force, he went on to become a physician. He graduated from the University of Southern California Medical School and completed his residency at the University of Oklahoma.

In addition to his political career, Clifford is also a co-owner of Fry Eye Associates and Surgery Center in Garden City. He has worked as an attending surgeon at several VA hospitals and has traveled on medical missions around the world.

In 2020, he ran for Kansas’s 1st congressional district, but lost to Tracey Mann. Despite this setback, Clifford continues to serve his community and state with dedication. He is a member of the National Rifle Association of America.

Before his tenure in the Kansas House of Representatives, Clifford was elected to the Finney County Commission in 2014. He also previously served on the Garden City Community College Board of Trustees.

In his current term, which ends on January 13, 2025, Clifford has been assigned to several committees, including the Financial Institutions and Pensions Committee, Health and Human Services Committee, Social Services Budget Committee, and the Pensions, Investments and Benefits Committee.
