Senator Chase Blasi - Contact Information

Chase Blasi, born in 1994 or 1995, is an American politician who is a member of the Republican Party. He represents the 27th district of the Kansas State Senate since January 9, 2023.

After graduating from Newman University in 2015, Blasi served in various roles in every legislative session. He was the legislative policy director for the Kansas Department of Revenue. He has also been the chief of staff for both former Senate President Susan Wagle and current Senate President Ty Masterson.

In 2023, Blasi introduced a bill to turn over abortion restrictions to localities. He has been a part of several committees including Public Health and Welfare, Education, Federal and State Affairs, Assessment and Taxation, Capitol Preservation Committee, and others.

Blasi has sponsored several bills and resolutions. Some of them include providing a sales tax exemption for certain purchases by disabled veterans, expanding the scope of uses of campaign contributions to include family caregiving services, exempting all social security benefits from Kansas income tax, and others.

On the personal front, Blasi is married to McKenna Blasi. They have two adopted sons, Damian and Desmond. Blasi is a Catholic.
