Lindsay Vaughn is a member of the Kansas House of Representatives, representing District 22. She is a member of the Democratic Party. She assumed office on January 11, 2021, and her current term ends on January 13, 2025.

Lindsay Vaughn was born in Overland Park, Kansas. She graduated from Blue Valley Northwest High School. She earned a degree in political science and cultural anthropology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Before her political career, Vaughn worked in human resources and the nonprofit sector. She oversees Literary KC and has served with the Girl Scouts of NE Kansas and NW Missouri. She has also worked as a volunteer coordinator for Literary KC. In 2018, she was a field organizer for Sharice Davids. She was also the chair of the Johnson County Young Democrats. She worked on the campaigns of state representatives Brett Parker and Brandon Woodard.

In the 2023-2024 term, Vaughn was assigned to the following committees: Health and Human Services Committee, House Judiciary Committee, Water Committee, and Special Claims Against the State Committee. In the 2021-2022 term, Vaughn was assigned to the following committees: Social Services Budget Committee, Water Committee, and Children and Seniors Committee.

Vaughn ran for re-election to the Kansas House of Representatives to represent District 22. She won in the general election on November 8, 2022. She has led efforts to protect groundwater in Kansas by endorsing legislation to curtail pumping in the state. She has also sponsored legislation to abolish Capital punishment in Kansas.
