Adam Bowling is an American businessman and politician serving as a member of the Kentucky House of Representatives from the 87th district. He was elected in November 2018 and assumed office on January 1, 2019.

Personal Details: Adam Bowling resides in Middlesboro, Kentucky with his wife, Becky, and their two children, Harrison and William. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Wofford College in 2004.

Career: Outside of politics, Bowling owns and operates several businesses, including PD Specialty Care, Danville Drug Company, Bowkirk Medical, and People’s Choice Pharmacy. He also works as a manager at Boone Trace Development and Redbow.

Political Career: Since taking office in 2019, Representative Adam Bowling has prioritized fiscal responsibility in state government. He has served as vice chair of the House Natural Resources and Energy Committee and vice chair of the Small Business & Information Technology Committee since 2021. He has also upheld Kentucky’s responsibility to our retirees, supported historic investment in education and infrastructure, and voted to lower Kentucky’s income taxes.

Legislation: Adam Bowling has sponsored pro-life legislation and blocked threats against religious freedom. He has protected our Second Amendment rights and played a key role in Kentucky’s fight against substance abuse. He sponsored the Kentucky Recovery Ready Communities Act to help struggling families and communities in recovery. Adam has recently sponsored legislation to create an economic development fund, ensuring our rural counties have access to state economic development dollars.
