Walter Gerard Runte Jr., also known as Gerry, is currently serving his first term as a member of the Maine House of Representatives, representing District 146, which includes Ogunquit, Wells, and York. He is a member of the Energy, Utilities and Technology Committee. Before settling in York with his wife, Michelle, who has deep family roots in Maine, Runte was raised in a career Army family and served in the Army himself.
