Hannah Bowen is a member of the Democratic Party and currently serves in the Massachusetts House of Representatives, representing the 6th Essex District. She assumed office on May 21, 2025, and her current term will conclude on January 6, 2027.

Bowen won her seat in a special election held on May 13, 2025, defeating Republican candidate Medley Long with 73.5 percent of the vote.
