Earle S. Banks is an American politician, representing the 67th district in the Mississippi House of Representatives since 1993. He was born in Jackson, Mississippi, on June 25, 1954, and attended St. Joseph’s High School. After high school, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Jackson State University and his Juris Doctor from the Mississippi College School of Law.

Banks is associated with the Mississippi and National Funeral Directors & Morticians Association and Magnolia and Mississippi Bar Associations. He is active in the JSU Foundation and many other community organizations. His professional experience includes working as an attorney, funeral director, and insurance executive.

In his tenure, Banks has served on several committees including Banking and Financial Services Committee, House Insurance Committee, Judiciary A Committee, Judiciary En Banc Committee, House Public Property Committee, Public Utilities Committee, and Ways and Means Committee. He has also chaired the Enrolled Bills Committee.

Banks ran for re-election to the Mississippi House of Representatives to represent District 67 and won in the general election on November 7, 2023. His current term ends on January 4, 2028. He has been a member of the Democratic Party and has been serving in the Mississippi House of Representatives since 1993.

In his personal life, Banks is an unmarried Catholic. He has dedicated his life to public service and continues to serve his community with dedication and commitment.
