About Senator Andrea Olsen - Democratic Representative of Montana
Andrea Olsen is a member of the Democratic Party and represents District 50 in the Montana State Senate. She assumed office on January 2, 2023, and her current term ends on January 4, 2027. Prior to this, she was a member of the Montana House of Representatives, representing District 100 from 2015 to 2022.
Andrea Olsen was born and raised in Missoula, Montana. She graduated from Hellgate High School and earned her bachelor’s degree, with honors, and her J.D. from the University of Montana.
In the 2023-2024 legislative session, Olsen was assigned to the Education and Cultural Resources Committee, the Highways and Transportation Committee (as Vice Chair), and the Senate Judiciary Committee.
