Representative Jill Cohenour - Contact Information

Jill Cohenour is a member of the Democratic Party and currently serves in the Montana House of Representatives, representing District 84. She assumed office on January 2, 2023, and her current term is set to end on January 6, 2025. Prior to this, she represented District 78 in the Montana House of Representatives from 2002 to 2011. However, state term limits disqualified her from seeking re-election in 2010.

Cohenour was born in Havre, Montana, and currently resides in East Helena. She completed her high school education in Havre and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree from the University of Montana. Professionally, she has worked as a chemist.

In addition to her legislative duties, Cohenour has been assigned to various committees throughout her political career. In the 2023-2024 legislative session, she served on the House Local Government Committee as Vice Chair, the House Natural Resources Committee, and the House Taxation Committee. Previously, she served on several committees in the Senate, including the Senate Ethics Committee, Fish and Game Committee, Senate Natural Resources Committee, and Senate Taxation Committee.
