Kenneth Bogner for Senator
Kenneth Bogner is a member of the Republican Party and represents District 19 in the Montana State Senate. He assumed office on January 7, 2019, and his current term ends on January 4, 2027. Bogner ran for re-election to the Montana State Senate to represent District 19 and won in the general election on November 8, 2022.
In 2023, Bogner began serving as Senate President pro tempore. Over the years, he has been assigned to various committees. In 2023-2024, he was assigned to the Finance and Claims Committee and served as the Vice Chair of the Senate Local Government Committee. In 2021-2022, he was the Vice Chair of the Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation Committee and was also part of the Education and Cultural Resources Committee and the Finance and Claims Committee. In 2019-2020, he served on the Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation Committee, the Education and Cultural Resources Committee, and the Finance and Claims Committee.
Bogner was born in 1987 in Miles City, Montana, U.S. He served in the United States Marine Corps as a combat engineer and completed two tours of duty in the Middle East during the Iraq War. After completing his military service, Bogner utilized the G.I. Bill to earn his bachelor’s degree in political science from Columbia University. He also earned a Master of Public Policy from Middlesex University. He returned to Montana and served as chief of staff for the majority leader of the Montana Senate and then as a field representative for Steve Daines.
