About Representative Larry Brewster - Republican Representative of Montana
Larry Brewster is an American politician serving as a member of the Montana House of Representatives from the 44th district. He was born in 1951 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. He completed vocational training programs at Idaho State University and served in the United States Army from 1969 to 1972.
Brewster worked at NorthWestern Corporation from 1982 until his retirement in 2016. He was a member of the Billings Public Schools District Board of Education for six years and was a member of the Billings City Council for eleven years. Brewster was appointed to the Montana House of Representatives and sworn in on March 24, 2020, following the death of Dale Mortensen.
He has been happily married to his wife Vonda for 47 years and they have raised two children. He is also an amateur radio operator and an avid four-wheeler of both off-road trucks and ATVs. He has restored 8 Toyota Land Cruisers and a 63 Chevy SWB 4WD fleet side pickup over the years. He is also an avid fly fisherman and enjoys backpacking across the wilderness. He takes advantage of the opportunity of spending time camping and exploring public lands in Montana.
