Melissa Romano for Representative
Melissa Romano is an American politician and educator who is currently serving as a member of the Montana House of Representatives for the 81st district. She was elected to this position in November 2022 and assumed office on January 2, 2023. Prior to her political career, Romano has had a long-standing career in education. Since 2004, she has worked as an elementary math teacher in the Helena Public School District. In addition to her teaching career, Romano has also been a Democratic candidate for Montana superintendent of public instruction in 2014, 2016, and 2020.
In terms of her educational background, Romano earned an associate of science degree in photography from Northwest College. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in social science and a Master of Science in elementary education and teaching, both from the University of Bridgeport. Melissa Romano resides in Helena, Montana.
