Tom France, born on June 15, 1951, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, is an American attorney and politician. He is a member of the Democratic Party and has been serving as a representative of the 94th district in the Montana House of Representatives since January 4, 2021. France’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in history and political science, as well as a Juris Doctor, all from the University of Montana.
Before his political career, France joined the National Wildlife Federation in 1981 as a staff attorney. He later served as the regional executive director of the Northern Rockies, Prairies, and Pacific Regional Center. His political journey began with his election to the Montana House of Representatives in November 2020, succeeding Kimberly Dudik. His current term is set to end on January 6, 2025.
