Jose Cambrils is a member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives, representing Merrimack 4. He assumed office on December 7, 2022, and his current term ends on December 4, 2024. He is a member of the Republican Party.

Born in 1960 in Victoria de Las Tunas, Cuba, Cambrils escaped the Communist Castro regime in 1965 and legally immigrated to the U.S. He became a U.S. Citizen in June 1973.

Cambrils earned a B.S. in industrial engineering from Northeastern University in 1983 and an M.B.A. in operations management from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell in 1987. His career experience includes working as an engineer and an engineering executive for 35 years. He has worked for several companies including Honeywell, Wang Labs., Cal-Comp, Sanders, Lockheed, and BAE Systems. He retired at the age of 55 and ran for NH State Rep. in 2018. He ran for State Rep. again in 2020 and won a seat in Merrimack County District 9 Canterbury/Loudon.

In terms of local government involvement, Cambrils has been the Treasurer of Merrimack County Republican Committee (MCRC) since September 2017 and is a member of the Board of Directors for Clough Pond Association in Loudon, NH since 2016.

Cambrils is also a member of the House Finance Committee and the Finance - Division I Committee. He has sponsored several bills during his tenure.

In his personal life, Cambrils is married to Allison Cambrils and they have lived in Pelham, Canterbury, Concord, Penacook, and now Loudon since June 2016. He enjoys hunting, fishing, coin collecting, and doing Cuban style pig roasts. He is also a board member of the Gilmanton Winery in Gilmanton, NH.
