Steven Bogert is a member of the Republican Party and represents Belknap 5 in the New Hampshire House of Representatives. He assumed office on December 7, 2022, and his current term ends on December 4, 2024.

Steven Bogert lives in New Hampshire. His career experience includes working as a floor supervisor at Lowe’s Companies, a tax preparer for KG Tax Service LLC in Laconia, a realtor at Century 21 Twin Rivers Realty, and a manufacturing technician at Motorala Inc.

Bogert began volunteering as chairman of the Laconia Zoning Board of Adjustment in 2002. He was elected to serve as the Ward 5 clerk for the City of Laconia, New Hampshire, in 2014, and also served as a commissioner of the City of Miramar, Florida, from 1999 to 2002.

In the 2023-2024 term, Bogert was assigned to the Public Works and Highways Committee. The committee is responsible for matters pertaining to the development and repair of public highways, the Highway Fund, the Turnpike Fund, buildings and capital construction, the capital budget, matters pertaining to state bonding authority, capital expenditures related to the improvement and preservation of the coastline, the care of state memorials and monuments, and such other matters as may be referred to it.
