Heather Simmons (born 1968 or 1969) is an American public relations professional and Democratic Party politician. She currently serves as a member of the New Jersey General Assembly for the 3rd legislative district, having taken office on January 9, 2024.

Biography: Heather Simmons resides in Gloucester County, New Jersey. She earned a bachelor’s degree in international relations and politics from Saint Joseph’s University in 1991. Additionally, she holds an M.A. from Rowan University, which she obtained in 1996.

Simmons has a strong background in public relations and currently serves as an assistant vice president at Rowan University. Her commitment to public service led her to run for the New Jersey General Assembly, where she represents District 3. In the 2023 election, Simmons, along with her Democratic running mate Dave Bailey, defeated Republican incumbent Bethanne McCarthy Patrick and her running mate Thomas J. Tedesco.
