Dennis Riddell for Representative
Dennis Riddell is a member of the Republican Party and represents District 64 in the North Carolina House of Representatives. He first assumed office in 2013 and his current term ends on January 1, 2025. Riddell is running for re-election to the North Carolina House of Representatives to represent District 64 and is on the ballot in the general election on November 5, 2024.
Riddell earned his bachelor’s degree from the California Maritime Academy. His professional experience includes owning FreedomIR Thermal Imaging and Heritage Stables Equestrian Facility. He served in the U.S. Naval Reserve from 1978 to 1988.
In terms of legislative service, Riddell has been assigned to several committees over the years. In the 2023-2024 session, he was assigned to the Appropriations Committee as Vice Chair, the Appropriations on General Government Committee as Chair, the Education - K-12 Committee, the Election Law and Campaign Finance Reform Committee, the Energy and Public Utilities Committee, the Federal Relations and American Indian Affairs Committee, and the Regulatory Reform Committee as Chair.
