Dori Hauck is a dedicated public servant currently serving as a member of the North Dakota House of Representatives. She represents District 36, which includes the city of Hebron.

Hauck’s journey into politics began when she was appointed to the North Dakota House of Representatives in 2021, following the expulsion of Luke Simons. Since then, she has been an active participant in the legislative process, sponsoring numerous bills and serving on various committees.

Before her political career, Hauck was a rancher, a writer, and a music teacher. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management/Marketing from the University of Mary and a Master of Science degree in Business Administration from Park University, Kansas City.

In addition to her legislative duties, Hauck is also a board member of the Richardton Healthcare Foundation. She is married to Doug and they reside at their ranch located at 2461 81st Avenue SW, Hebron, ND.

During her tenure, Hauck has served on several committees. In the 68th Legislative Assembly - Regular Session (2023), she was a member of the Interim Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee, the Education Committee, and the Transportation Committee.

Hauck is a member of the Republican Party and she is currently running for re-election to the North Dakota House of Representatives to represent District 36. Her current term ends on December 1, 2024.

In the 2022 elections, Hauck won the general election for North Dakota House of Representatives District 36 along with incumbent Gary Kreidt. She is on the ballot in the Republican primary on June 11, 2024.
