Senator Elinette González Aguayo - Contact Information

Elinette González Aguayo was born on August 27, 1973 in the municipality of San Juan. However, much of his childhood, educational and professional development was spent in his beloved municipality of Dorado, where he resides.

From early in his training he acquired an enormous sense of public service, particularly areas of accounting and administration, a passion that has marked his academic and professional career.

A product of public schools in the municipality of Dorado, González Aguayo completed secondary studies at the Technological University College of Bayamón, where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Accounting. He achieved a Master’s degree in Business Administration, with a specialty in Project Management, from the Ana G. Méndez University System.

She is recognized for her emphasis on organization, resource distribution and budget management, tools she has used throughout her professional career.

Focused on her vocation to serve others, she entered public service working in the Senate of Puerto Rico, from where she served in various positions, including in the Office of the President of said Legislative Body and as Services Coordinator in the Superintendency of the Capitol. He also worked in the Accounting Division of the Department of Economic Development Commerce, the Office of Citizen Services, attached to the Governor’s Office, and the Administration’s Budget Office for Child Support.

In addition, she has experience in the private sector, standing out as Director of Operations, as well as Acting Director, of the Jane Stern Community Bookstore in Dorado, as well as Administrative Assistant in Legal Study.

On November 5, 2024, she was elected Representative for District Number 11, which includes the municipalities of Dorado, Vega Alta and Vega Baja. She was appointed to chair the Natural Resources Commission.
