Senator Gabriel Rodríguez Aguiló - Contact Information

Representative Gabriel Rodríguez Aguiló was born on August 19, 1973. Married and proud father of three young people. Their training is a product of the public education system of Puerto Rico. He has an associate degree in Chemical Engineering Technology from the University of Puerto Rico, Arecibo Campus and an associate degree as a Pharmacy Assistant at the National University College of the same city. In turn, he has a bachelor’s degree (BA) in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.

In the 2004 elections, he was elected as Representative of District Number 13, made up of the towns of Manatí, Ciales, Florida, Barceloneta and Arecibo. During the four-year period from 2004-2008, he served as President of the Health Commission of the House of Representatives and the Joint Commission for the Implementation of the Right to Health.

In 2008, he revalidated for a second term in the House of Representatives, selected as Vice President of the Body. In the 2012 elections, he was again elected as Representative of District Number 13. He served as Minority Spokesperson on the Health Commission and member of the Finance and Budget, Agriculture, Natural Resources and Environmental Affairs, Federal and International Affairs, and Veterans Affairs and Internal Affairs Commissions.

In 2016, for his outstanding and responsible work supervising the administration of that time, he was re-elected for a fourth consecutive term as Representative for District 13. Likewise, he was elected by his fellow representatives to serve as Spokesperson for the Parliamentary Majority in the House of Representatives and President of the Commission on Calendars and Special Rules of Debates of the House of Representatives of Puerto Rico.

Currently, Rodríguez Aguiló is the Alternate Spokesperson for the Parliamentary Minority in the House of Representatives.
