Senator Jerry Zahamir Nieves Rosario - Contact Information

Jerry Zahamir Nieves Rosario was born in Arecibo on October 26, 1988. Son of Jerry Nieves Pérez and Agnes Dolores Rosario Rodríguez. Being the oldest of three brothers.

On December 5, 2012, he became the father of a beautiful girl named Alondra Paola Nieves Dalmau. Jerry Zahamir Nieves Rosario has stood out as a community leader in his hometown of Manatí and in his community. He inherited from his mother the vocation for public service, in addition to his integrity and commitment, which are the basis of his achievements. Nieves Rosario’s passion is to serve.

In 2016 he was elected as municipal legislator of the town of Manatí and that same year his colleagues elected him majority spokesperson for the New Progressive Party (PNP). During the 2017-2020 four-year period he directed the Recreation and Sports commission. In 2020 he was re-elected as a municipal legislator and his leadership was recognized by his colleagues so much so that he was nominated as Vice President of the Municipal Legislature of Manatí during the four-year period 2021-2024 and was in charge of the Recreation and Sports commissions, as well as Public Works and Decoration.

On November 5, 2024, he was elected to the position of Representative of District 13, which makes up the towns of Manatí, Florida, Barceloneta and Arecibo. In January 2025, he was appointed President of the Northern Region commission.
