Susan Pulsipher for Representative
Susan Pulsipher Bennion is an American politician serving in the Utah House of Representatives, representing District 45. She lives in South Jordan and has a B.S. in education and an M.Ed. in Education Leadership with a Policy emphasis from Brigham Young University.
She served on the Board of Education of the Jordan School District from 2011 through 2017. Pulsipher was elected to the Utah House in 2016, defeating Democrat Patty Rich. She was reelected in 2018, defeating Democratic opponent Megan Wiesen.
Pulsipher was born in Idaho and earned her B.S. in elementary education from Brigham Young University in 1970 and her M.Ed. in educational leadership with an emphasis in policy from Brigham Young University. In January 2017, Pulsipher resigned from her position on the Jordan Board of Education to focus on her work as a member of the Utah House of Representatives.
She assumed office on January 1, 2023, and her current term ends on January 1, 2025. Pulsipher ran for re-election to the Utah House of Representatives to represent District 45 and won in the general election on November 8, 2022.
Throughout her political career, Pulsipher has been assigned to various committees including the Transportation Committee, House Economic Development and Workforce Services Committee, House Education Committee, and Political Subdivisions Committee.
