Born on April 17, 1961, in Charleston, West Virginia, Dana J. Ferrell’s journey began amidst the rolling hills and tight-knit communities of the Mountain State. His educational path reflects his commitment to learning and community development: Dana earned an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) in Business Management and Marketing from West Virginia State University (WVSU). He continued his studies at WVSU, obtaining a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Business Education. Later, he pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Special Education at Marshall University, equipping himself to make a positive impact on others’ lives.
Career and Community Involvement:
Dana Ferrell wears many hats beyond his political role: As an educator, he has shaped young minds, emphasizing the importance of education and community engagement. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to business ownership and development, contributing to the economic growth of his region. Dana’s passion for sports and community engagement is evident through his presidency of the RSN Sports Network.
