About Representative Robert Wittke - Republican Representative of Wisconsin
Robert Otto Wittke Jr. (born September 23, 1957) is an accountant and Republican politician. He represents the northern half of Racine County in the Wisconsin State Assembly. Wittke graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire with a B.A. in accounting. His professional background includes work as a tax accountant for companies like Modine Manufacturing and Snap-on Inc. He has also been employed by CORPTAX, a tax software as a service company based in Deerfield, Illinois, since 2012.
Wittke’s political journey began when he ran for the Racine Unified School Board in 2013, eventually winning a seat in the newly drawn ninth district in 2016. He was later elected School Board President. In 2018, he successfully ran for the 62nd district seat in the Wisconsin State Assembly, defeating former State Senator John Lehman.
Wittke resides in Wind Point, Wisconsin, and is married with four children. He continues to be a strong voice for his constituents, advocating for successful small businesses, local employment opportunities, and an effective education system.
